My name is Mrs. Karen Goldberg, I am the Pre-K 3's & 4's teacher at Our Lady of Victory School, the place to be. I teach all Pre-K subjects, except specials.
I started my career in Baltimore City Public Schools, teaching Pre-K, K and First grade. This is my 17th year at OLV. I truly enjoy sharing my love of literature by teaching students to read in the First grade for 10 years. Then for the last five years I have been teaching Third grade and continuing to share my love of reading. I have now come full circle as I return to the Pre-K classroom! I love reading to the students and having them enjoy looking at books and reading to each other by looking at the pictures and seeing the smile on their faces when they recognize words in the text.
I have 4 fantastic children, 1 son and 3 daughters and have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years. My family also includes; a dog and a fish. My son works full time and is a part time college student, working on his BS degree. My oldest daughter works full time and is a part time college student, working on her BA degree.. My middle daughter is a Howard County Public School First grade teacher. My youngest daughter is a full time student at CCBC and works part time. 2 of my children are OLV graduates. I guess you could say that I followed them here.
When I am not at OLV you can find me at home, reading, playing games on my tablet, watching television, and planning my next trip. . I also enjoy going to the Raven’s games, Oriole games, seeing movies, shopping, and traveling. I love spending time in Las Vegas, and at the beach and exploring lighthouses.
